Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Landskpr ("we", "us") operates a directory at landskpr.com that connects customers — homeowners, businesses, HOAs, and property managers — with landscaping companies. We're a Florida-based business reachable at info@landskpr.com.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email, password (stored hashed), and the company-profile fields you choose to fill out — phone, website, location, services, service area, license and insurance details, photos, description.

Usage information. We log standard request metadata (IP, user-agent, page visited, timestamp) for security, abuse prevention, and basic analytics.

Project requests and reviews. If you send a project request to a landscaping company or submit a review through our platform, we store that content (including your name, contact details, property type, service needed, and timeline) so we can deliver it to the company and show reviews on the relevant profile.

Public directory listings. We add landscaping companies to our directory using information from publicly available sources (public business records and directories, the open web). See section 6 below for the unclaimed-listing program.

3. How we use your information

  • To create and operate your account.
  • To deliver project requests (leads) and reviews between customers and landscaping companies.
  • To display listing, service, and review data publicly on company profiles and in search results.
  • To send transactional emails (lead notifications, password resets, account verification).
  • To send claim invitations to companies that appear in our directory but haven't been claimed yet (see section 6).
  • To improve the product — fix bugs, prevent abuse, and analyze aggregate usage.

4. Sharing

We don't sell your personal information. We share it with service providers we use to run the platform (Supabase for database, Vercel for hosting, Resend for email). Each is contractually limited to processing the data on our behalf. When you send a project request, the details you enter are shared with the company you contacted — that's the point of the request.

We'll disclose information when legally required (court order, law-enforcement request) or when we believe in good faith it's necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, or harm.

5. Public profiles

Listing data you choose to publish — business name, location, services, photos, description, reviews — is publicly visible by design. Anything you don't want public, don't enter into your listing.

6. Unclaimed listing program

Landskpr publishes profiles for landscaping companies that appear in publicly available sources even before the owner has signed up. We do this to make the directory useful from day one — when someone searches for a local landscaper, we want them to find it whether or not the owner has claimed the listing.

What we publish. Company name, city/state, and service categories. Owner-controlled features — photo galleries, lead delivery, review responses — activate only after the listing is claimed.

How we contact you. If we have an email on file from a public source, we may send one cold email inviting you to claim the listing. The email is CAN-SPAM compliant: it includes our physical address, identifies us as the sender, has a working one-click unsubscribe link, and honors opt-outs immediately.

How to opt out, take down, or correct a listing. Use the "Claim this listing" flow on the listing page, reply to any claim email we send, or write to info@landskpr.com. We review every request within 24 hours and either remove the listing, correct it, or email you back to ask for clarification.

Once you claim the listing, you control everything on it.

7. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication (signed-in session) and basic site function. We don't run third-party advertising trackers.

8. Data retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal identifiers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or where the data is part of an aggregate analytics dataset.

9. Your rights

You can review, edit, or delete most of your data directly in your dashboard. To request deletion of your entire account, copy of your data, or correction of information you can't edit yourself, email info@landskpr.com. We'll respond within 30 days. California, Virginia, Colorado, and other US-state privacy law residents have specific rights including access, deletion, and the right to opt out of any "sale" — though we don't sell personal information, you can still exercise these rights via the same contact.

10. Children

Landskpr is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data — encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and role-based access control on the database. No system is perfect; if we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you as soon as we're legally and reasonably able.

12. Changes

We'll update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page is authoritative. Material changes will be flagged in your dashboard or via email.
